We are looking for a Chocolatier/Food Prep Assistant to join our Chocolate Team at BE Chocolat in Fairfield, CT. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about chocolate, whether you are just starting out or have prior chocolate or culinary experience.

Job requires:
- Tempering cocoa butter and chocolate in bowls and on marble
- Piping fillings with precision and consistency
- Following recipes precisely
- Cleaning chocolate molds, roasting nuts, preparing caramel and other ganache fillings
- Standing for long hours in a small, shared, fast-paced workspace
- Experience producing ice cream is a plus

Flexible hours: 25–35 hours/week in the off-season, 40+ hours/week during busy season
- Typically Monday–Friday schedule, with some Saturdays required during peak periods
- Pay and role/responsibilities will vary based on experience
- Experience working with chocolate is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years in the food industry OR current second-year culinary school student
